This is a rare, collectible, Victorian children’s magazine with wonderful illustrations.
Condition: This book is in fair condition for its very advanced age. Color paste up over boards depicting a child eating from a bowl of spilled milk as a puppy licks it. Front cover is missing a portion on the right side. Edges and corners are worn. Blue spine. Back cover is discolored and torn along edges. Frontis and title page are loose. There is an inscription dated 1876 behind frontis. Interior is minimally toned, but some pages are loose. From page 211-220 there is damage to the pages on the portion toward the spine. Hinges cracked, binding cracked. Still quite legible.
