Who doesn't enjoy a good fairytale?

I absolutely love fairytales and often go out of my way to find books and art in the genre. During these times of the pandemic, social unrest, and climate uncertainty, fantasy has become more important than ever. In the summer of 2020, I began sending postcards to my friends and family to let them know I cared. Sending a postcard and a letter got me away from the computer screen, and brought joy to my lovd ones. Often, I chose postcards that were whimsical or fantasy subjects to counteract all the negative news.

Fairy tales ("conte de fées" in French) have been around for thousands of years and come in many forms. Many of today's fairy tales have evolved from centuries-old stories that have appeared, with variations, in multiple cultures around the world. The history of the fairy tale is particularly difficult to trace because only the literary forms can survive. Still, according to researchers, such stories may date back thousands of years. Fairy tales, and works derived from fairy tales, are still written today.

Our selection of fairytale gifts will bring joy to your loved ones as they have mine.
