Condition: This album is in good condition. Vintage Victorian photo album, dating back to the late 1800's with a glossy red embossed hard casing accented with a charming country scene. Boards are lightly worn along edges and corners. Burgundy velvet spine is in great shape. Hinges tight. Binding square and sturdy. The metal clasp mechanism is in working order. All edges gilt. 12 thick pages matted for both 4" x 6" and 2" x 3.5" photos. The inner pages are lightly toned and feature gilt floral illustrations. The photo frames are in great shape but do have some wear. There are two pictures of babies in the book. Please keep in mind that this album is nearly 150 years old.
