Jean-Baptiste Labat (sometimes called, simply, Père Labat) (1663 - 6 January 1738) was a French clergyman, botanist, writer, explorer, ethnographer, soldier, engineer, and landowner.
Condition: This book is in good condition. Brown calf leather. Cover is worn along edges, corners and outer hinges. Five raised bands on spine. Leather is chipped along spine, titles barely visible. Hand marbled endpapers. Text block is in great shape, bright, clean and well preserved with minimal toning. Fabulous.
