Condition: These books are in fair condition. Hardcover. Publisher's original red cloth; blind embossed, with gilt titles and decorations. Boards are worn along edges and corners. Boards have detached from spine. Hinges cracked. The pages are loose. Each steel engraving is protected by a flyleaf. Text block and engravings are foxed. Some pages are brittle along edges. This fantastic architectural reference is hard to find in a complete set. Four engravings are missing in Volume II (37, 38, 39, 43).
