Condition: This book is in fair condition. Leather. Front cover completely detached from spine. Cover boards have wear along edges and corners as well as some chipping. Leather is very chipped along spine which is hand tooled with gilt. Book bears an elegant ex-libris belonging to Thomas Law Hodges Esq. of Hemsted, Kent. Ink inscription along with pencil marks on inside front board. Ink inscription on front endpaper. Title page and frontis is loose and age toned. Handsome frontispiece portrait of James Neild. Text block is in great shape, slightly toned, very legible. Book includes a fold out plan (as shown) which is great condition. Some mold on rear prelims. Pages supple.
