CONDITION: This book is in poor condition. Rebound. This book is ex-library and has seen quite a great deal of use. It's been rebound in brown leather and has thus withstood the tests of time. The spine has library decimal numbers. Only the half-title page remains to identify this gem detailing Egyptian art, history, and culture. In the rear of the book, there is a card slot. This book used to belong to the Forbes Library in MA. Text block has seen heavy wear but is still perfectly legible. Many of the page edges are torn, but it doesn't interfere with the copy. The illustrations are sublime and numerous consisting of engravings and full color, fold-out plates of Egyptian patterns, etc. Hard to find reference.
