'This volume of New Italian Sketches has been made up from two books published in England and America under the titles of 'Sketches and Studies in Italy' and 'Italian Byways'. It forms in some respects a companion volume to my 'Sketches in Italy' already published in the Tauchnitz Collection of British Authors.

Condition: This book is in good condition. Leather. White leather accented with lovely green pattern. Book shows signs of wear along edges and corners. Gilt titles on spine are bright. Binding is sturdy and hinges are tight. Text block has some very light foxing in the first few pages, them mostly clean and crisp. Minimal toning.
