Condition: This book is in fair condition. Hardcover. Yellow cloth boards are worn along edges and corners. Cloth is torn along the spine and needs repair. Lovely verdure patterened endpapers. Hinges tight. Binding square. The book has various inscriptions, the most prominent one being one on the front flyleaf dating to 1881. Inscription reads, "Take thou this book and with some care, preserve it; for 'tis a pledge from me to thee, the emblem of my constancy." This book came from the library of Charles H. Bolles Jr's Library, Brooklyn, and was purchased at auction. Text block is crisp and clean. Top edge yellow. Rare and hard to find.
