This book is in good condition. Leather. Boards are worn along edges, corners, and hinges. Elaborate gilt filigree on spine. Hinges tight. Binding square. There is an ink inscription on front endpaper dated 1836. Includes two frontispiece steel engravings; one of Chief Justice Marshall and Patrick Henry. The text block is lightly toned with occasional foxing. A handsome volume of this hard to find work. -
