Condition: This book is in good condition. Blue cloth covered boards with black and gilt titling and decorative design to front and spine. Cover shows signs of wear along edges and corners. Includes numerous illustrations, diagrams, and sketches in colour, monochrome, and black and white, as well as the original tipped-in wax paper diagrams including a scale for a complete kiln, a design for a glass painter's easel, and 'The Cartoon' which is a full size drawing of one portion or figure in the design of a window. Decorative frontispiece depicts 'The sketch for the "Sir Galahad's Vision" Panel. The contents include chapters on Processes and Materials, Designing for Stained Glass, and The Sketch, among many others. Hinges tight. Text block is crisp and clean. Some of the tissue guards have come loose. Beautiful.
